A Knitwear Collection
This collection was researched, designed and constructed as my Thesis project during my Undergraduate Studies at OCAD University, Toronto. It works towards creating a space in design where traditional and modern elegance can come together in collaboration. It incorporates traditional Kashmiri motifs in knitwear pieces with a modern silhouette, using punch card knitting and blocking techniques. Every decision was carefully made, after trial and error. The thesis gave me first hand experience of designing a garment collection end-to-end!

The colors gold and silver are often associated with value and significance. They are chosen as the color scheme to communicate the value in holding onto significant practices and traditions, as we evolve with modern times. Traditions that are passed down generations, traditions that are worth being 'kept'.

Material choice was based on comfort, and compatibility with punch card- 100% rayon from bamboo (Gold, Silver),
 Tencel yarn (white)
